About 5 or 6 years ago Allen Iverson conducted this press conference where he mentioned practice 20 times. Well fortunately times have changed and the primary topic of debate has now turned to bottled water.
Recently, an Australian town announced an outright ban on bottled water claiming the environmental and economical improvements outweigh the convenience (link). I guess the global credit crisis, or whatever it is called now, is not really having an impact on Australians.
I guess the debate of the product is less about the water and more about the bottle, the bottle, the bottle. We are talking about the bottle...not the water....the bottle. I am not really concerned about the water, just the bottle. If our environment was hurting so bad I would probably try to recycle the bottle, not the water, the bottle. Geez....I can not believe we are actually having this debate... its just a bottle. Not water...no not water....but a bottle.
So you are saying that this is not about the water but the bottle. Bottle. Bottle. I can not believe we are talking about the bottle right now. If anybody tells you that the problem is with the bottle, then they do not know what they are talking about, the issue should be the water. The beverage I drink when I am thirsty....but we are not talking about the drink....we are talking about the bottle. When I quench my thirst I want the water....not the bottle. How the hell can I quench my thirst without water? Bottle, that is what we are talking about right now. Can someone just get me a bottle of water so I can enjoy this last moment? Bottle.
That is my bode to Allen Iverson - 20 Bottles!
I am sure amidst all of the environmental concerns going on right now that we will be dealing with this in the U.S. in a matter of no time. Chalk that up in the 3rd spot, right behind the economy and health care.
